The Dogrock El Rojo (The Red) is a wine made from our best estate grown Grenache, Shiraz, Graciano, Touriga Nacional and a splash of Viognier. Hand crafted by owner/winemaker Allen Hart, the wine is a tribute to the advantages of blending. A beautifully perfumed wine, it has elegance and yet remains very long and complex on the palate. Matured with 30% new single forest French oak, only 35 dozen of the wine was made. It can be enjoyed early but will cellar for several decades.
